Quinta de Covela acaba de lançar no mercado os brancos Avesso e Arinto, bem como a edição 2014 do rosé. Os brancos monocasta são aconselhados para acompanhar saladas, peixe grelhado ou comidas orientais. Quanto ao rosé, que tem por base a casta Touriga Nacional, é proposta para harmonizar com gastronomias leves.

The English Tony Smith and the Brazilian Marcelo Lima should announce the purchase of another winery in their portfolio. Friends since Smith worked as a journalist in Brazil,
as a foreign correspondent, both launched in the wine world in 2011, with the purchase of Quinta da Covela in the Minho region, northern of Portugal.
The place chosen for the presentation of new Covela wines was the theater S. Carlos in Lisbon.

Half a year after launch, the first Covela wines of the new generation - one vinho verde and one white cuvée - have already sold out. Marcelo Lima and Tony Smith, the two foreign investors who bought Quinta de Covela in 2011, are preparing now the launch of the 2013 Covela Escolha Tinto, an unoaked red blend of Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Franc and Merlot - just in time for Christmas.
